Nigeria’s First Fully Digital Bank, get everything done from the comfort of your Phone.

With ALAT, account opening/sign-up can be done in five minutes from a mobile phone or personal computer. Account holders can instantly fund their new account using any existing local or international debit/credit card you may have, in-app. No branch/ATM visits necessary.  Debit cards are delivered to an account holder’s address in two business days, anywhere in Nigeria, at no cost.

Holders of ALAT account can also enjoy a simple automated savings plan that will see them earn 10 per cent annual interest – about three times the standard bank rate. How to get ALAT

  1. Download the app on Google Play (for Android phones) or the Apple App Store (for the iPhone).
  2. If you’re signed up on Wema Mobile, sign into ALAT with your existing login details and follow the prompts on your screen.
  3. If you’re not signed up on Wema Mobile, follow the prompts on your screen to sign up on ALAT.

As with everything else on ALAT, you can now apply for a loan without a paper work, no visitation to any physical location and response time between acceptance of offer and loan disbursement is in minutes. You can borrow as much as N200,000 (Two hundred thousand naira) without any collateral.

How it Works

  1. Login to ALAT or sign-up if you have not
  2. From the menu items, click on ‘’Loans’’
  3. Read through and understands ALAT disclaimer
  4. Upon successful credit evaluation and checks a loan offer is presented with duration and applicable interest based on users current risk score
  5. Read through and accept the Terms & Conditions which will contain consent to having your account debited for repayment at loan due date and provide your debit card details to be debited
  6. Your account will be immediately credited.

Paying back your loan

  1. At the pay back date if loan is still outstanding your will get a repayment notification after which your account will be automatically debited
  2. Customer gets repayment notification
  3. You may also wish to repay the loan before payback date from the Bills Payment option on the menu
